Our upmarket B&B or Self-catering Cottage is on two-acres on the northern side of Pietermaritzburg, in a beautiful setting with a countryside ambiance. We cater for individuals, couples and families; corporates, tourists and holiday-makers visiting the City of Choice We offer our guests comfort and quality accommodation in a peaceful atmosphere with wonderful warm hospitality from our friendly and efficient staff. The luxury facilities will make the most traveled business person feel right at home, with only the best service and attention to detail.

LOCATION:
Dunranch House is conveniently situated on the northern side of the city of Pietermaritzburg, in Wembley at the corner of Old Howick and Mitchell roads. Five minutes drive from the CBD and close to the vast Liberty Midlands Mall, various restaurants, cinemas, Greys Hospital, schools and the Royal Showgrounds. The Victoria Country Club golf course, Queen Elizabeth Park and World’s View are just around the corner. It is very easy access to and from the N3 freeway linking Johannesburg and Durban and five kms from Hilton Village, with its fantastic Quarry Shopping Centre. Fifteen minutes from the Midlands Meander, Midmar dam and Howick Falls and twenty minutes to the Karkloof Falls. One hour to Durban and one and a half hours to the Drakensberg Mountains.

DESCRIPTION:
Dunranch House comprises of three en-suite private and secure double / twin rooms with their own verandas, a thatched self-catering cottage which sleeps four and a bachelor flat. In total we can accommodate eleven people in spacious upmarket rooms. All accommodation has TVs (Mnet), fans, heaters, safes and tea / coffee making facilities. Laundry is an option from Monday to Friday and there is plenty of secure off street parking. Guests have the option of a delicious continental breakfast served on the verandah or in the cozy conservatory with the World’s View Forestry area on our doorstep. The immediate environs are ideal for walking, jogging and cycling.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Check in time is from 11h00 until 16h00. Late check-ins to be arranged prior to arrival. Check-in after 21h00 will incur a surcharge of R20.00. Please have your room vacated by 10h00 on day of departure.
  • Booking will automatically be cancelled if deposit (50% of total cost) is not received 10 days prior to arrival.
  • The deposit confirms your booking and the outstanding cost must be paid within 5 days of commencement of stay.
  • Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation, or ‘non arrival’.
  • If booking is made within 5 days of commencement of stay, the entire accommodation cost must be paid.
  • No persons other than those quoted for, are permitted to share the accommodation.
  • All buildings are smoke free zones.
  • Please note this is a residential area; please keep noise levels to a minimal after 22h00.
  • No pets allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
* Less than 7 days, forfeit the full deposit * From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75% of the deposit
* From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50% of the deposit * From 21 to 29 days, forfeit 25% of the deposit
* 30 days or more, forfeit 10% of the deposit.

Terms and Conditions of this booking are deemed as being accepted on receipt of deposit, or credit card details.
